Using the site

perfecttune.net's Tuner, Metronome, Tone Generator, Interval Ear Trainer, Chord and Scale Dictionary, BPM Tapper and Chord Transposer are provided free of charge, as-is, for anyone to use. There is no account to create and no fee to pay.

No warranty

These tools are built with care but are not a substitute for a professional-grade tuner or click track in a critical performance or recording setting. Pitch detection and timing accuracy depend on your microphone, browser, and device; chord, scale and transposition results follow standard equal-tempered theory but your chart's own notation conventions may differ. perfecttune.net is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Audio & hearing

The Tone Generator and Metronome produce audible tones. Start at a low volume, especially when using headphones, and use your own judgment about safe listening levels and durations.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other users.
